U.S. CUSTOMS

A non-resident may bring in to the United States, free of duty, gifts totaling up to $100.00 in value.

 

A returning resident may bring in, free of duty, articles totaling $800.00 in value.

 

Residents and non-residents may bring duty-free no more than one liter of alcoholic beverage, (beer, wine or liquor) per person.

 

You are not allowed to bring into the U.S. fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and meat products. If you plan to bring salmon, it has be smoked and vacuum packed. 

 

An International Health Certificate and current rabies vaccine documentation are required for dogs or cats traveling directly from Cyprus to the United States.  For further information contact veterinary services at 22-805201 or Email at vet-services@cytanet.com.cy

 

Embassy public hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm except on Cypriot and American holidays.
