Non Immigrant Fees to Increase

On December 14 a 60-day window opened for public comment on proposed increases in the application fees for U.S. Visas. You are invited to read about the proposed fee changes at http://travel.state.gov/news/press/press_4603.html

Comments on those proposed fees must be submitted directly to the U.S. Department of State, not to the U.S. Embassy in Nicosia, Cyprus. Comments may be submitted in the following ways:

- Persons with access to the Internet may view the notice and submit comments by going to the regulations.gov web site at: http://www.regulations.gov/index.cfm.

- Mail (paper, disk, or CD-ROM): U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Office of the Executive Director, U.S. Department of State, Suite H1001, 2401 E Street NW Washington, DC 20520.

- E-mail: fees@state.gov. You must include the RIN (1400-AC57) in the subject line of your message.

The Consular Section is located at Metochiou & Ploutarchou Street, Engomi 2407, Nicosia. We request that you carefully review this website before contacting us with an inquiry. We provide the following visa services:

Nonimmigrant Visas – temporary visits for tourism, business, exchange programs, study and temporary employment.

Immigrant Visas- permanent residency, marriage to an American citizen.

Visa Waiver Program – information for visa-free short term travel to the U.S. by nationals of countries participating in the Visa Waiver Program.
