The 2nd Annual 2007 English Summer Institute at Atlexs Sanverler Middle School in Nicosia is off to a great start. U.S. professors Drs. Patricia Prinz and Dorit Kaufman flew in to teach 60 English, biology, chemistry, physics and math teachers in content-based English instruction during an intensive two-week session. The students are studying theory combined with specific pedagogical techniques to incorporate into their classroom over the next year. Local students will be delighted to know that their teachers are now the students!
