Thirteen commercial bankers completed the four-day course titled, “Customer Oriented Service” and received their certificates on April 17 2008. This course was designed as an overview of the concepts necessary for providing successful customer service, implementing strategic marketing objectives and learning the skills needed for both.
The Customer Oriented Service course is the fourteenth course to be delivered by the EDGE project. The trainers of this course were Dervis Besimler, who is one of EDGE’s most experienced trainers and the EDGE Training Coordinator, Senfer Uzun. This is the second time that this particular course—which was designed and developed by local instructors who completed EDGE’s comprehensive “training of trainers” program—has been taught.
Bulent Berkay, President of the Turkish Cypriot Banks Association, congratulated the participants at the graduation ceremony and presented each with a Certificate of Completion.
This course, consistent with EDGE’s overall activities, was designed to improve the environment which Turkish Cypriot businesses function, as part of a program to foster a durable economic foundation for the future reunification of Cyprus. The Economic Development and Growth for Enterprises (EDGE) project is implemented by BearingPoint, Inc. and funded by USAID. |
