Embassy Nicosia Reaches Out to University Students
to Encourage Education in the U.S.

On April 15, Vice-Consul Richard Hanrahan and Fulbright Commision Representative Gulsen Oztoprak reached out to students at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) with a presentation on “Education and Travel in the United States.” Hanrahan gave the audience a step-by-step explanation of the visa application process. Oztoprak then followed with an explanation of educational opportunities offered by the Cyprus Fulbright Commision. Both speakers then took questions from the audience.
