The United States was one of several countries represented at an international fair organized and hosted by the Foreign Languages and Cultures Student Association at the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol on November 11, 2009. U.S. Embassy Political Officer Jason Chue joined students, friends and faculty of the University for a celebration of world culture that included presenters from Belgium, Moldova, Kenya, Germany, Russia and the Czech Republic.

During his presentation, Mr. Chue took the audience on a virtual tour of his hometown of New York City, highlighting quintessential New York icons such as the yellow taxi, the subway, the Statue of Liberty and famous skyscrapers. Keeping with the multicultural theme of the evening, he also highlighted the countless immigrant communities from around the world that call New York City home. Joined by Language Instructor Dimitrios Boglou, Jason ended his presentation by singing a karaoke rendition of Frank Sinatra's classic American standard, "New York, New York."
